Technical requirements

Spartan-Labs runs in your browser. You do not need to install a VPN or remote desktop client to access SpartanOps.

Requirements

• A current desktop browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
• A stable connection while using the remote console and during an exam.
• Enough screen space to use the remote desktop and course panel side by side.
• Permission to open new tabs from app.spartancybersecurity.com.
• Browser clipboard permission if you copy and paste inside SpartanOps.

Allow HTTPS access to these domains:

• app.spartancybersecurity.com
• auth.spartancybersecurity.com
• *.stripe.com during checkout

Note

SpartanOps is designed to attack only the targets in the lab. General Internet access from the machine may be restricted.

For a stable session, avoid networks with aggressive WebSocket inspection, restrictive corporate proxies or frequent connection changes. If the environment does not open, see SpartanOps troubleshooting.
