How courses work

Spartan-Labs courses turn cybersecurity concepts into guided practice. Each learning path combines Tasks, technical objectives and progress tracking so you can build skills in controlled scenarios.

  • Tasks: hands-on exercises with objectives and flags that validate the result.
  • Progress: a record of solved Tasks, points and course advancement.
  • Lab resources: these vary by learning path. Some courses include SpartanOps, while others use a different experience.
  • Exam: an independent assessment associated with the course certification.

There is no universal structure. A course may organize its Tasks into stages, modules or another sequence; it may also use SpartanOps with Linux or Windows depending on the environment it needs to teach.
